Steven Mott began his career teaching high school special education in the Grove City Area School District, at George Junior Republic School, in 2010. He taught special education for six years. In November of 2017, Steven was hired as the high school assistant principal at Freedom Area High School. At Freedom, he served as the high school assistant principal for six-and-a-half years, the Director of Transportation from March 2020 to November 2021, and as the interim high school principal for the spring semester in 2022. Steven was hired as the high school principal at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year.
Steven received his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary & Special Education from Slippery Rock University, a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership from Duquesne University, and completed his post Master’s Graduate Studies from Duquesne University in the Supervision of Curriculum & Instruction.
