FULL-TIME SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
The School Psychologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluation and reevaluation reports under PA Chapter 14 (IDEIA), PA Chapter 15 (Section 504), and PA Chapter 16 (Gifted Education) guidelines.

The School Psychologist will provide consultation on behavior, academic interventions, and progress monitoring, ensuring that all assessments follow best practices as outlined by the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Additionally, the School Psychologist will support school teams in creating comprehensive, individualized, and student-centered plans, fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

The School Psychologist will also be responsible for billing direct service activities through the School-Based Access Program (SBAP), ensuring all relevant activities are properly documented for reimbursement. Please click HERE for job description.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
Duties to include, but not limited to: scheduling, data management, online ordering, receiving, and inventory management. Will be required to provide access to district buildings for vendors. Must possess a valid PA driver’s license to pick up supplies from local retailers as needed. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office-based software as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills. Three years of experience in a secretarial position is preferred.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will support the health and well-being of students by providing professional nursing services within a school setting. The LPN will work closely with the Certified School Nurse (CSN), the School Nurse (RN), school staff, and parents to ensure a healthy and safe environment for students. The LPN will also be responsible for performing health assessments, administering medication, handling medical emergencies, and promoting good health practices.

FIFTH GRADE TEACHER
The content areas for this position would be math and science. Applicants
must have one of the following certifications: Elementary K-6 or Mid-Level
4-8. Candidates must have exemplary communication skills as well as the

CUSTODIAN POSITIONS
The Freedom Area School District is currently accepting applications for custodian positions that are open and anticipated due to upcoming retirements. The part-time custodian position offers a pay rate of $17.36 per hour, while substitute positions start at $17.00 an hour. Day-to-Day Substitute Positions

Freedom School District has partnered with ESS to provide day-to-day and long-term substitute teachers and paraprofessionals.

Minimum Requirements:

PA state clearances, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and TB test results  

Day to Day Substitute Teachers: $125.00/day

Long-Term Substitute Teachers (20 + days): $135.00/day

Active PA teaching certificates, inactive teaching certifications, or ACT 86 for college students with 60+ credits in education will be accepted. If you or someone you know holds a Bachelor’s degree, contact the local Kelly branch to learn more about emergency certification.

Paraprofessionals: $16/hour

High School Diploma
